The calm before the unannounced storm

Wow! This is really cool. You can definitely tell this had been inspired by Transformers, which is pretty sweet, yet it's still it's all its own and unique. I love you color choice with the lava/ fire in cracks of the lettering, as well as bordering them, and how the yellow hue in the cracks contrasts with the darker gray/black color. The multi-leveled shapes are also eye-catching, and help make the letters more 3-dimensional. I also enjoy look of the negative space where the sets of "vents" are in each of the letters. My only possible concern is that the "G" is mostly disconnected while the others are very overlapped with the different levels, it may create too much negative space and be distracting, but that's also up to your digression. Overall, I think this is really cool piece, and I love the different techniques you've used in it.
